Dr. Faye Doell

Saretta received her Masters degree from University of Toronto where she specialized in work with Children and Families and completed placements in Justice and Mental Health. Her training involved working with individual clients and their families dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, school avoidance, substance abuse, family conflict, parenting, relationship issues, family grief/loss, immigration, adoption, bullying, and self-esteem issues.

Saretta has done work with clients in clinical, correctional, educational, recreational, and community settings in Toronto, Los Angeles, and Trinidad. She has a strong interest in promoting the health and well being of young adults and parents of all ages and does so by drawing on client strengths through various therapeutic approaches including CBT, mindfulness, narrative therapy, and an understanding of neuroscience as it relates to therapeutic change. She strongly believes in the importance of clients' agency and social justice.
