Dr. Zoë Laksman

Dr. Zoë Laksman obtained her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois where she also received a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology. She completed her clinical training at the York University Counselling & Development Centre, the Toronto District School Board, the Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Unit, the Anxiety Disorders Clinic, and the Law & Mental Health Program at the Centre for Addiction & Mental Health as well as at the Cognitive and Behavioural Health Department at Cleveland Clinic Canada.

Dr. Laksman's training experiences have included both individual and group interventions for adults with Depression, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Social Phobia, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Phobias, Workplace Stress, Loss/Bereavement, and related interpersonal and adjustment difficulties. Dr. Laksmans' background and training have shaped her interest in promoting improved psychological health, interpersonal functioning and wellness to both individuals and groups. Her primary areas of clinical interest are mood and anxiety disorders, the prevention of disease through stress management, as well as understanding the underlying patterns that maintain these issues.
