Dr. Julie Wallis is a registered clinical psychologist (supervised practice) who works directly with children, parents, and families to help them live healthier lives. She specializes in early childhood concerns (e.g., tantrums, separations, and difficult behaviour), parenting difficulties, and parent-child attachment, as well as psych educational and social-emotional assessment (including learning disabilities, ADHD, anxiety, depression). Dr. Wallis has a particular passion for attachment and family-based interventions; however, she also draws from emotion-focused, behavioral, and solution-focused theories in her work.

Dr. Wallis earned her Doctorate in Clinical Developmental Psychology at York University and completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre in Toronto. During her internship, she was a member of the Infancy and Preschool Assessment and Treatment Team and received specialized training in assessment and intervention with young families. Dr. Wallis has also completed clinical placements at the Hospital for Sick Children, Surrey Place Centre, and Bluebaloon Health Services. Her training and experience center on complex psychological assessment of children, integrative psychotherapy, parent counseling/coaching, and family therapy.
