We all carry different parts of ourselves – some that protect, some that nurture, and some that feel stuck in old pain. Together, we can explore what’s asking for attention and what might be ready to shift.
Kiran is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Ottawa. At the core of her work is a strong therapeutic relationship built on empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. She recognizes that each person brings a unique set of experiences shaped by culture, identity, and personal history. With this in mind, Kiran creates a space where clients can show up fully as themselves – free from judgment and pressure to be anything other than who they are.
Kiran takes an integrative, evidence-based approach to therapy, exploring how thoughts, emotions, and behaviours interact, sometimes leading to patterns that feel difficult to break. She works with clients to untangle these patterns, helping them discover new ways to navigate life and relationships with greater ease. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as elements of attachment-based, emotionally focused, and acceptance-based approaches, she tailors interventions to meet the needs of each client. Her work also delves into the underlying patterns and past experiences that influence current behaviours and relationships.
Kiran values culturally responsive care and understands the complexities of navigating multiple identities, intergenerational expectations, and systemic challenges. She has experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, trauma, and life transitions. She strives to help clients make sense of their experiences, uncover new perspectives, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who they are.
