Dr. Raymond M. Morris received his Bachelor of Arts from Sir Wilfred Laurier University in May  1966. He completed a Master of Applied Science Degree from the University of Waterloo,  specializing in Counselling Psychology in May, 1971. Dr. Morris was awarded his Doctorate Degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto in 1973. 

Dr. Morris was employed as a Staff Psychologist at the Family Court Clinic of the Clarke  Institute of Psychiatry from July 1972 to 1978, and assumed the position of Associate Chief  Psychologist until September of 1986. During his 14-year tenure at the Family Court Clinic, Dr.  Morris gained extensive experience in the assessment and mediation of custody and access  disputes, as well as child welfare matters, prior to a full-time private practice begun in August of  1986. Dr. Morris has been a part-time faculty member of York University, teaching in the  Department of Psychology as a Course Director. Prior to this faculty position, Dr. Morris has  acted as liaison and had been responsible for the training and supervision of psychology interns  primarily from York University and the University of Toronto. Additional teaching consisted of  lectures and workshop experiences, such as serving as Faculty Member for the Family Law  Practice Skills Course, sponsored by the Law Society of Upper Canada. 

Dr. Morris’ current practice specializes in the area of providing services to individuals, couples,  and families in transition and breakdown, such as marital dysfunction, separation and  divorce. Specific services provided in this regard include individual counselling/psychotherapy, couple/relationship therapy, psycho-diagnostic assessment of individuals, and consultation  including triage of services and coaching. As well as clinical hypnotherapy when appropriate. 

Dr. Morris is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario, having been licensed to  practice in the province since 1973. He is a member of the Ontario Canadian and American  Psychological Associations, the Ontario Association of Family Mediators, Family Mediation  Canada, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
