Riley Williams (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Riley received her Master of Education at the University of Toronto in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Riley completed her undergraduate degree at Queen’s University. Riley completed her clinical training at CAMH, providing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to individuals transitioning out of inpatient hospitals. Riley received the Psychotherapy Student Excellence Award at CAMH, demonstrating her commitment to the profession. 

Riley has worked at the Jean Tweed Centre, providing therapy to women-identified folks who were experiencing concurrent mental health and addiction concerns. She currently works at the Garry Hurvitz Centre for Community Mental Health at SickKids, working with youth and their families. 

Her areas of expertise are emotional dysregulation, addictions, challenges with self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. Riley’s approach is warm, empathic, strengths-based and compassion-focused. While Riley works primarily from a DBT standpoint, she adapts her approach to fit the client’s unique goals and needs.
