The Clinic on Dupont - Clinical Psychology

Thomas Mosher is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who has a Master of Psychology (MPsy) degree from Adler Graduate Professional School. His previous education includes an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph and a certificate from the Toronto Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis. His previous work experience includes three years with Distress Centres of Greater Toronto offering support to callers on helplines and training other responders. Prior to a career change in his early thirties, Thomas taught English as a second language in Toronto for many years.

Thomas’s approach to therapy is client-centred, collaborative, and informed by psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural, and relational theories. While most of Thomas’s experience to date has been related to depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, stress, and relationships, he also has experience working with chronic pain, anger, sexuality, grief, and trauma. Thomas also has experience doing therapy with children who are suffering from anxiety. Outside of therapy, Thomas’s main interests are music, movies, sports, and travel. He has a vibrant personality and lively sense of humour, which he does not attempt to hide from his therapy clients.
