NADIA D’IUSO, Ph.D., C.Psych.

Dr. Nadia D’Iuso is a registered psychologist, specializing in the treatment and assessment of adults and adolescents. Born and raised in Montreal, Dr. D’Iuso earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at McGill University and her Ph.D. at the University at Albany in New York. Dr. D’Iuso specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and in couples psychotherapy.

As for her clinical experiences, Dr. D’Iuso has worked in different settings (e.g. hospitals, community mental health, university clinics) in both Canada and the United States. She spent several years in Montreal at the Jewish General Hospital, clarifying diagnoses and delivering comprehensive treatment plans for adults and adolescents struggling with different stressors. She is presently head psychologist at the Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences in the Adolescent Inpatient Unit.

Dr. D’Iuso works from a cognitive behavioural treatment perspective and often integrates many different therapeutic approaches and strategies to better meet her clients’ specific needs. Dr D’Iuso can offer both time-limited (e.g. 8 to 12 sessions) as well as long-term psychotherapy, depending on the goals of therapy.
