Robyn Budovitch is a Registered Social Worker who received her Masters degree in Social Work at the University of Toronto with a specialization in Children and Families. Robyn’s expertise and passion lies in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, emotion regulation, stress, and trauma. Robyn also has extensive experience teaching self-control and problem-solving skills to children experiencing behavioural challenges at the Child Development Institute. Robyn believes in the benefit of collaborating with caregivers, where appropriate, to improve the effectiveness of treatment with children.

By attuning to her client’s needs throughout every step of the work together, Robyn seeks to create a nonjudgmental and safe space that welcomes open dialogue and inspires self-reflection. In doing so, it is Robyn’s hope that she and her clients can establish a meaningful connection from which healing, growth, and change can take place. Robyn works collaboratively with her clients, at their pace, to ensure that their needs and goals are addressed.

Robyn’s practice is largely influenced by Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), though she flexibly adapts her approach to best meet clients’ individualized needs. She embraces a client-centred, anti-oppressive, and trauma- informed practice. Through her collaborative, empathic, and warm approach, Robyn helps clients harness their strengths, break down barriers interfering with their happiness, and work towards leading fulfilled lives.
